01 / System capabilities
Tablet-optimized
Control the dyno, configure tests and view results directly on your tablet. The browser-based interface is optimized for tablet use, keeping the key test parameters clearly in view.
02 / System capabilities
Wireless connection
Connect your tablet to Dynomax over Wi-Fi. Operate from inside the vehicle or a nearby workstation, without a cable between the tablet and the main controller.
03 / System capabilities
CAN-bus integration
The main electronic modules exchange commands and measurement data over the CAN bus. This architecture brings measurement and load control together so the system components work in coordination.

High-frequency retarder control
A high-frequency inverter controls the electromagnetic retarder, allowing smooth adjustment of braking force. This is especially important for holding a set RPM as engine output changes during tuning under load.

Acceleration limit
Set the maximum acceleration rate. Dynomax automatically adjusts braking load to keep powerful cars within the limit. On lower-power cars that stay below the limit, the retarder adds little or no load. This simplifies testing vehicles with different power levels.

RPM & timed load control
Set braking load at selected RPM points, create load steps and specify how long each test point is held. Constant-RPM and constant-speed modes help you examine engine operation under load and repeat the selected test sequence.

EV regeneration
The Energy Recovery mode evaluates regenerative braking and calculates regenerative energy in kWh from dynamometer measurements. This helps compare electric-drive settings and study the vehicle's behavior during deceleration.

Up to 7 wireless relays
Connect up to 7 wireless relays to control cooling fans, exhaust extraction and other equipment through the Dynomax interface. The dyno and auxiliary devices can be operated together from your tablet.
